Take payment with several methods or leave a balance owed
Split a payment between cash, card and other methods, give change, or leave part of it owed.

On a sale’s Payment screen you can record as many payments as you need, each with its own payment method.
1Choose the first payment method, for example Cash.
2Enter the amount you were given that way and tap Charge now. The payment appears in the Payments taken list.
3Choose the next method, for example Debit card. If you don’t enter an amount, everything still owed is charged.
4Review and tap Create sale.
Change: if you receive more than what’s owed, MAYEL records only what was due and tells you how much change to give back.
Fee: if the payment method has a fee, you’ll see how much the terminal takes and how much reaches the business.
Store credit: if the customer has credit, use it like any other payment method.
Remove a payment: tap the × on its line.
Leave part of it owed
If the customer pays only part, the final button says so: Create sale — $X paid, $Y owed. The rest stays pending on their account and is collected later from their Charges and payments.
Can I leave a sale with no customer partly owed?
No. A sale with no customer must be paid in full, because there’s nobody to charge later.
Where do I collect what was left pending?
In the customer’s account: open their Pending or Partly paid charge and tap Record payment.
