Why Mayel

A clinic is not run from a calendar.

Booking an appointment is the easy part, and a dozen apps do it. What is hard is everything the appointment drags behind it: a history, a consent, a package, a product, a payment and a number at the end of the day that has to be true.

Nothing here is anyone’s fault

These three happen in clinics that are doing well. They are not a discipline problem: they are what happens when the tools were never built for this work.

  • The history is split in three

The assessment is on paper, the photos are in a phone, and what she is allergic to is in the head of whoever attended her that day. Nobody is at fault: there was never one place to put it.

  • The till closes by memory

Deposits taken on a Tuesday, a package half used, a transfer that came in on Saturday. The day is counted twice and still comes out differently.

  • Product leaves without a trace

Stock only gets counted when something runs out mid-session. What was used is never the same as what was bought.

Six things that are only true in one system

Any two programs can be made to talk to each other. None of this works that way: it works because it is the same record.

  • A session is given

the product it used leaves the stock, with the movement recorded.

  • A package is sold

every session consumed counts itself down, and the record shows what is left.

  • A deposit is taken

it becomes a sale of the treatment and appears in that day’s closing.

  • A treatment requires consent

it is stopped at the door until it is in the record. A professional can override with a reason that gets recorded.

  • A lead converts

she arrives with her history — where she came from, what she asked for, who followed up.

  • Someone changes something

key changes are signed: who, when and what it said before. Nothing with history is ever deleted.

What Mayel refuses to do

A product is also what it decides not to be. These six are not missing features: they are the shape of the thing.

  • We do not charge per access account

A price per seat teaches a clinic to share one login. Then the record cannot say who did what. Each person signs in as themselves for free; the plan is sized by the specialists who see customers.

  • We do not sell loose modules

There are two defined plans, Esencial and Pro, and each one lists exactly what it includes. Nothing is charged as a separate add-on.

  • We do not hold your data

Your customers, your treatments and your history are yours. You export them whenever you like, as spreadsheets you can read.

  • We do not erase history

A customer is archived and a sale is cancelled with a reason, never erased. Key changes stay in the ledger.

  • We do not invent numbers

Every figure in a report is something that happened: a sale, a session, a movement. No estimates dressed up as results.

  • We do not sell what does not exist

If Mayel does not do something you need, we say so before you pay, not after.

Who Mayel is for, and who it is not

We would rather tell you now than take your money and have you leave in three months.

It is for you if

  • You run an aesthetic clinic, a medical spa or a cosmetology and hair-removal centre.
  • You assess, you take consent, you treat in sessions and you follow up afterwards.
  • More than one person touches the same customer, and each should see what is theirs.
  • You sell packages, take deposits and need the day’s closing to be true.
  • You want to read the business without asking anyone for a report.

It is not for you if

  • You have a salon or a barbershop and only need appointments and a till.
  • You need a regulated medical record with insurance billing.
  • You only want a calendar: there are cheaper options and they will be enough.
