Purchases and suppliers
Order from your suppliers, receive the stock and pay for it, each step at its own time.

MAYEL separates the three moments of a purchase: order, receive and pay. Creating the order moves neither inventory nor money; receiving raises inventory; paying records the expense.
1In Expenses → Purchases, tap Register → New purchase.
2Choose the Supplier. If it doesn’t exist yet, create it right there with New supplier.
3Under The lines, choose each Product, its Quantity and its Unit cost.
4If you’ve already paid, turn on The supplier has already been paid and choose the Account.
5Tap Place the order (or Save the draft if you’re still putting it together).
When the stock arrives
1Open the purchase and tap Receive stock.
2For each product, enter only what actually arrived.
3Tap Receive stock. Inventory goes up and the average cost is recalculated.
To pay for it, open the purchase and tap Record a payment. You can pay in several parts; MAYEL won’t let you pay more than what’s owed.
What details does a supplier need?
The Name is enough. If you like, add phone, email, Payment terms and Days to deliver.
Where do I see what I owe suppliers?
In Expenses, with the link See who is owed, and how much of it is late.
