Gift cards
Sell gift cards with their code and redeem them as credit for whoever brings them in.

A gift card is money your business has already collected, waiting for whoever brings in the code. It’s sold in Loyalty and campaigns and redeemed on the record of the person who presents it.
Sell a card
1In Loyalty and campaigns → Gift cards, tap Sell a gift card.
2Enter the Gift card code: the one printed on the card you hand over.
3Enter the Amount and, under Method, how it was paid.
4If you like, enter For (optional) and a date in Expires (optional).
5Tap Sell.
Redeem a card
1Open the customer’s record and go to the Money tab.
2On the Credit card, tap Redeem a gift card.
3Enter the code and tap Redeem.
The amount is added to the customer’s Credit, which they can use as a payment method on any charge.
Does selling the card count as income?
Not yet. The money goes into the account for the payment method, but it stays as something still owed to the customer. It becomes income when the customer spends the credit.
Can I reuse a code?
No. You choose the code, and it can’t repeat within your business.
