The usual path of an appointment is Scheduled → Confirmed → Waiting → In treatment → Finished, but two taps are enough: Arrived when they come in and Done when they leave.
1When the customer confirms they’re coming, tap More → Confirm (optional).
2When they come in, tap Arrived. The appointment moves to Waiting and their arrival time is recorded. The button appears from 30 minutes before the appointment.
3When they go into the room, tap More → Start treatment (optional). MAYEL checks the treatment’s requirements.
4When it’s over, tap Done. The appointment moves to Finished.
If a requirement is missing
If the treatment calls for an assessment, consent, a minimum age or a guardian and something is missing, The treatment cannot be started opens. Tap Go to the record to sort it out, or start on your own responsibility with a Reason and Start anyway; it’s logged in the audit trail.
What happens when it’s finished
The package session is deducted or the plan session is recorded, if the appointment uses them.
The supplies the treatment uses are deducted.
The follow-up is scheduled, if the treatment calls for one.
The customer’s visits and expected return date are updated.
It gets charged: depending on Charge a visit when it is finished, the charge is created or MAYEL opens the sale with the services already added.
I forgot to record the arrival. What do I do?
Tap More → Mark as attended: the appointment moves to Finished with the same effects as Done. If you recorded the arrival at the wrong time, use More → Correct the arrival time.
When can I mark a no-show?
Once the appointment time plus the Arrival tolerance has passed. Use More → No show; MAYEL creates a follow-up to contact the customer.
